When getting shoulder surgery and blood is drawn does it detect for drugs?

This is the problem, I work at a hospital and I need to get shoulder surgery. On occasions I smoke marijuana (please no preaching). My fear is that if they do blood test like for any normal surgery THC will come up and that would be no good for me because then I will be jobless. So IF they do draw blood which im sure they will, Do they look for any drugs or just certain things for that specific surgery. All answers are appreciated. Thank You.

They DO draw blood, but it isn't for drug testing. It is for a blood count to be sure you don't have an infection going on, and that you have plenty of red blood cells.
