I am an athletic medicine student trainer at my school so I can somewhat help you with your problem. You probably should consider surgery and going back to see your doctor. Generally the type of exercise you are taking about is part of a rehabilitation program of some sort so I doubt they would help you much considering your problem was not fixed. A way to help yoru injury is to get an icebag, place it over your affected shoulder and "ice" for 20 minutes. The rule is 20 minutes of icing and 40 minutes of resting (not icing) for every hour that you have available. this should relieve the pain and could possibly fix your problem. Hope this helped.
