Rotator cuff strain, anti inflamitory, how long?

I injured by rotator cuff working out 2 months ago. I tried ibuprofen for a week, along with ice. It did not do much. I cannot afford a doctor, but I would like to get this healed. I am trying some stretching and strenthening excercises too. Should I go back to the ibuprofen? Its 600MG.. for how long?

thanks

ok if you hurt your shoulder 2 months ago and its still hurting, you either really injured something or you got tendonitis. either way, you need to lay off the working out for awhile and rest and ice it. the thing with anti inflammatories is you need to take them consistently. they dont work immediately they need to build up in your system to work correctly. saying that, every time you stop taking them, your starting from scratch when you start back up. i would continue to do LIGHT stretches daily 5 reps each plane for about 2-3 weeks, then try very light strengthening exercises. dont you have insurance???
