Advice on recovering from a rotary cuff injury?
About 4 weeks I sustained a shoulder injury through weight training. I immeditaley stopped all exercise and started a course of Ibuprofen which did nothing. I then had a couple of physio sessions, where I was informed it was a rotary cuff injury.
Due to the cost of physio I can't afford to continue treatment and after a recent visit to my GP I have now been taking NSAID?s for about 4 days.
Unfortunately the condition is pretty much still the same as the day after it happened. Sore to the touch, constant dull ache increased with certain movements and waking up a few times every night when I lie on it etc.
Just wondering if anyone who has had this injury can shed some light into when I may start to see any improvement? Since taking the NSAID it is definitely stiffer than before, which I don?t know is a good or bad thing?
Also, is light stretching on the affected area a good or bad idea?
Any info most welcome. I am dying to get back on the weights but can?t see any light at the end of the tunnel at the moment :-(

1 Year old Rotary Cuff Injury?
It looks like I have a rotary cuff injury. It doesn't hurt that much but I still feel the "Clicking" feeling I get when I lift my arm over my head.
I know I should be careful by not stressing it too much because I saw a video that requires you to have surgery if you completely tear it.
Can anyone recommend me what to do? Who should I see? I hear doctors see people who have this problem all the time but who else should I see aside from one?
