Rotator Cuff Tear

Will manipulation under sedation to break up adhesions in my shoulder make a rotator cuff tear worse?
I fell 4 months ago on the ice and my shoulder was really injured. I did not seek treatment at the time. I have been going to pt for a month with only some improvement. The doc wants to do MUA now, but I'm worried that it could worsen a rotator cuff tear. Please answer soon! thanks for your help.

How hard is the physical therapy for a partial rotaotr cuff tear?
I have to have surgery to fix a partial rotator cuff tear in my left shoulder. I have had shoulder surgery twice on my right shoulder. The first one I had, tendinitis, impingement, and the doc basically cut my bicep tendon in half and extended it and screwed it back into my shoulder. The second surgery was just an impingement and scar tissue was removed. I have never had rotator cuff problems until now and I was wondering if there was someone who could tell me if physical therapy is rough after surgery. My friend told me he thought it would be because that is the hardest muscle to strengthen when body building. Can anyone help me out with this? To Richard: My doctor also told me that I have a bone spur along with the partial rotator cuff tear, he think's it's partial but can't tell until he goes in. He said it is in a significant area and it is frayed very badly, not quite sure what that means? What were you talking about when you said removal of scar tissue?

rotator cuff or impingement syndrome?
i have been having very bad shoulder pain off and on for over a week. i don't remember injuring it. it usually starts in the late afternoon and it is completely gone when i wake up in the morning. The pain is worst when i move my arm across my body. I can also hear a crunching sound when i move it. I was wondering if this could be a rotator cuff tear or impingement syndrome? It seems strange that it hurts so bad and then just disappears.

In terms of pain, is there a difference between a rotator cuff tear and a bursitis in the shoulder?
I understand that one would have to seek professional help for the exact answer, but I would like to know from anyone's experience. How do the pain differ?

Cab anyone tell me how compensation is calculated in a Workers Comp. Case?
I had a shoulder injury at work resulting in a torn rotator cuff, torn tendon, and impingement syndrone. I had surgery on my shoulder and during rehab it was reinjured, which requires another surgery. I've already been off work 10 months and the Dr. tells me that after this next surgery I'll probably be off another year and may never be able to do my "skilled trade" again.
