Could I have a rotator cuff tear?
Okay, on July 15th, 2011, I fell down my basements stairs. Obviously I was in pain, and very sore. I had some decent sized bruises on my elbows, and my feet were more sore than anything. I didn't feel the need to go to the doctors because I figured I'd just be sore for a week or two. But as the months went on, my left shoulder continuously caused me pain, and still is. I can't count how many nights I've gone with little sleep, crying for a good hour. At first when I started bringing attention to the pain, my mom figured it was just bruising, and she said that for a few months. But, obviously it's not bruised because it wouldn't still be giving my unbearable pain. To describe my pain... It sometimes feels like someone is taking a really thick, sharp needle, and trying to force it through my whole left shoulder. And then majority of the time, it feels like a burning, tearing, numbing sensation. I also feel pain in my collarbone, back of shoulder, and the front part of my upper arm (the bicep area?). And it hurts to put on deodorant because the pain has affected my armpit. My bra strap causes a lot of pain, as well. The pain has become so bad that it has affected my neck. My neck is very tight, and I'm constantly popping it. Sleeping is the worst part of my night. I'm never absolutely comfortable because no matter how I lay, the pain is unbearable. Raising my arm up above my head hurts. Pulling my arm behind my back is extremely painful. My shoulder also "clicks", like as if I were popping it, but I feel no pain, what so ever. All of my pain is only on the left side of my shoulder. And I know it sounds crazy that I haven't gone to the doctors by now. But I'm only 15, so I can't drive myself, and it also costs to get my shoulder checked on, and even more money if I have to get surgery, or something. So, if anyone has some helpful information for me, it would mean a lot if you told me. I'm so scared that something is seriously wrong.

Not sure if yoga would be safe after my shoulder problems?
This question could probably only be answered by a physical therapist or sports trainer but I figured I'd ask while it was on my mind. I recently finished physical therapy for my shoulder... long story short, i had to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles so they'd hold the shoulder joint in place. Do you think yoga would strengthen my shoulder or make it worse?

What is causing a burning pain in my shoulder blade?
For a few days now, I have had a constant burn in my shoulder blade. My skin around the area feels numb. I have a torn rotator cuff, could that be related? I have bad posture (I'm working on it) and also spend a significant amount of time at a computer for my job. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Can a weak deltoid and rotator cuff cause your shoulder to pop out?
My left shoulder first popped out in a high school basketball game and since then it has never been as strong as it was before. It has popped out several times since then and I am now a sophomore in college and it popped out yesterday. My deltoid feels like it has absolutely no kind of muscle there and im guessing my rotator cuff is very weak as well. Could this be the cause of my shoulder popping out? and if so how can i strengthen both of those . Thanks

Rotator Cuff injury? Need some advice. Please read the detail section.?
About 6 months to one year ago my younger brother who was ten at the time jumped on my back and grabbed my right shoulder and pulled down on it causing me to fall backwards with my right shoulder going down first. I did not fall but it was very close.. Ever since then my shoulder has given me problems from: not being able to move it sometimes(not very often) to not being able to preform simple tasks as in- brushing my hair, sitting/laying in certain positions, to even riding my horses. I have been to a family doctor in town and he says my shoulder is just weak and I need to build up my muscles well I tired that and I didn't have much success with it. Then I went to a chiropractor and she said that my should has dropped down and she wanted to put me on a weekly adjustment plan for two months and I said no to that (for certain reasons). Then the other day I was talking to a friend who plays soccer and the same type of incident happened to her and she when to the hospital and found out she tore her rotator cuff. I thought maybe the I could have the same thing? But I am tired of living in constant pain and I want to find a solution for the problem that I have.. Please let me know if you could help with this by giving advice or maybe telling me if you agree it would be very helpful! :)
