I am going to be having surgery for shoulder impingment and a torn rotatorcuff. What is ...?
the normal recovery period. Also does the pain go away 100%, and does full mobilty return? I have type 1 diabetes and am told that there is a connection between this disease and connective tissue disorders. I have also had all ten fingers released from trigger finger. Has any other people had this problem?

How do I end rotator cuff pain?
I'm not positive if its a rotatorcuff injury. I can do most things with my arm, but it only bothers me if I put my arm backhanded. I also can't throw a football or baseball, because this small nagging pain that is right where the rotator cuff is.

What did I do to my shoulder?
I hurt my shoulder the other day weight lifting. I was doing dumbell benchpress, bicep curls, and back. I work out normally. I had no pain the day I lifted at all. But the next day my right shoulder hurt everywhere. My left one a little but not as bad. It has now been 12 days and the pain has gotten somewhat better, but not much. I have pain in my right back, shoulder, elbow, and even my wrist. I can move it in all directions it just hurts. Im guessing its my rotatorcuff, but not sure. Just looking for some advice as to what I should do. Thanks.

why doesn't marijuana help me?
i have a problem with chronic pain. i have tendonitis in both knees, scoliosis to where i'm off by over 1 whole inch on one side, i recently discovered my shoulder pain is tendonitis in my rotatorcuff, and thats just the start. My mom has a lot of hereditary problems like getting migraines more than any one person ever should... and with my shoulder the way it is now mine have gone from one real big one every 2 months or so to at least one a week... and i mean the whole she bang... light and noise sensitivity, vomiting... the whole nine yards... i've tried smoking pot to help and it does the opposite.. i'm more aware of my pain and if i dont have a migraine when i smoke i do not long after... so i gave that up very fast... the doctors in my area assume that if anyone under 40 complains of pain then they are drug seekers and get prescribed ibprophen... i get that over the counter and it doesnt help with anything. I'm not going to lie i have gotten pain killers from friends and they seem to at least take the edge off so that i can function like a normal 21 girl... how do you tell your doctor that?
