How long after a deposition will I get my settlement?
Last April I was involved in an auto accident at work. The other driver ran a stop sign and smashed into me. I have an Attorney and since than I have had rotor cuff surgery and most recently I had a two level fusion in my lower back. On Sept of this year my Attorney and the Defendants Attorney had a case management now I have to go to a deposition next Thursday. Will this case finally settle and how long. My medical bills alone ran over 100,000 dollars not counting my lost wages and pain and suffering. Also the guy that hit me was charged from the police for failure to control.

What can i sue for i have been on work cover in Victoria since the 14/12/2006 i need advise ?
Ive had my operation on my shoulder which i tore a tended and i needed a rotor cuff repaired i had the surgery in may 2007 I'm still not the same i have returned to work but in light duties and restricted hours i went and had a doctors assessment the other day and i noticed on the report it said that I'm not capable to return to my normal duties So can i sue now??? And what can i sue for would it be loss of wages since i only get 65% of my wage If any one has been through this and can give me some advice that would be great

Best option for reimbursement in a car collision that was not your fault (this is interesting)?
I was in a car collision almost a year ago. A vehicle had rear-ended my vehicle at almost 50 MPH (or more) as I was turning onto another street. This caused my vehicle to end up about 100 feet from where I was hit. I had a concussion with some eye problems and my rotor cuff had torn on my left shoulder. The individual driving the other vehicle was 17, stole his mothers vehicle, drunk, had a suspended license, ran on foot from the scene, and to top it off the owner of the vehicle did not have insurance. Luckily I had uninsured motorist insurance.
As I had stated before this was almost a year ago and have healed quite a bit since then. I still have eye problems every now and then and my shoulder bothers me when it is cold. I continuously gets calls from my insurance company asking me to settle on an amount. They are offering to pay all my medical bills and $700 for pain and suffering. I am not sure if I should ask for more or if I could even get more.
What is my best option for reimbursement and would it be wise to get an attorney involved?
Thanks for the responses everyone. I live in Nebraska and I am not sure how much my UM limits are, it's definetly a question I should be asking though. Asfor how much I owe in medical my medical insurance is picking up the bill right now (minus deductables). I am sure they will want their money back as well.

Shoulder surgery bone spur?
I am due to have an operation to remove a bone spur from my right shoulder. I have been told that this can be done via keyhole surgery with a scope. Has anyone had a similar operation and if so what is the recovery time , what are your experiences.Please be honest I have been told that if I do not have the surgery then it could cause a tear in my rotor cuff. Also is there much pain involved during the operation, I expect some after.

And they told me that I need to get to a specialist, I having problems with my insurance and the quickest that I can see a Dr is Jan 23, My arm is in major pain, Any suggestions on,what to do, Serious answers only, Follow guidelines, Please help!!!!

Lack of mobility and pain in my shoulder?
I'm experiencing pain in my shoulder and I can't move it back. I am right-handed and it's my left hard that is hurting, but I have to like use my right arm to put my seatbelt on and stuff... I can't really afford to go to a doctor, but I will if it's a must. Any advice or help on what could be causing it? I feel like it's my rotor cuff.
