How can Christians claim that the unborn fetuses they are trying to protect are innocent?
I being Christian, am quite aware that Christians believe in the reality of original sin. We are born with it. Do you not think it is present with us in the fetus? I guess I am tired of hearing people say that we should never, ever, ever allow abortion because of the tiny precious innocent fetus...BUT, as soon as that fetus gets out, DON"T ever give it or its mother any welfare so she can feed it if she doesn't have enough money, DON"T allow give any money or taxes to allow it to get a good education so it doesn't end up in prison... and make sure that it gets sent overseas to fight all those wars we are so gung-ho for.
AND, even worse, all of them love to support the unborn with signs, but I think if you want to be against abortion, you have to be willing to take in some unwed mothers, and their babies and really help them!
But I guess the question I am asking, is if it is possible that the reason so many conservative Christians are so gung ho for ending abortion, but seem to care little for that life once it is here (and I know I am painting with a broad brush, but I have met enough to know that there are a decent amount of people like that) is because they think that in utero, the fetus is truly innocent, and maybe even for some time after it is born...but once it gets to a certain age we can let it go to heck because it is a sinner like all the rest of us?
I do apologize that this is not the most concise or well-written question right now, but forgive me, between a shoulder injury and a sinus infection, I am just hanging in here!
Paul -- YES! Original sin DOES make us personally guilty. It has to. Otherwise Christ would not have needed to come down to save us. Because all we would have to do is, "not sin" and not one of us has every managed to do that, because the individual sins are simply the sins of the terminal disease that is original sin. We don't need to commit them to have the disease, be guilty, and to need salvation.
Gwennie -- I really like your answer, and your delving into the mindset. Though I think that nobody should be forced into motherhood as punishment. That is a surefire way to end up with one miserable, hurt, and screwed up kid!
First of all, I am NOT saying that the fetus not being innocent should be an excuse to have an abortion. I am largely against abortion except in very rare circumstances. However, I do think that we cannot forget to uphold and nourish the lives that are already present on this earth.
And, I doubt that statistically all that many Christians have actually welcomed a welfare mother into their home, and yes, if I had sufficient money to be able to help support an unwed mother (because I would not want her to work any more than part time, so that she could spend plenty of time taking care of her child) and her child, I would certainly welcome them into my home!
PLEASE READ: I do NOT in most cases advocate FOR abortion, nor do I think the fact that we are all tainted with it means that we should go out and abort. However, in this painful world I do think sometimes abortion is the answer that spares the most pain and best upholds human life. Not very often at all, but sometimes.
I am just trying to figure out why so many conservatives who seem so against giving ANY help to people in need, want to be sure that there are many more people in the world at risk of being needy.

Shoulder injury please help!?
About a week ago I was doing cable flys in the gym when I felt a pop twice. I didn't really have pain so I kept doing the exercise it was my last excercise. About 15 minutes after working out it was in pretty bad pain. The pain is kind of in the front but kind of on top where the arm and shoulder meet. Maybe a little closer to the shoulder then arm. I stayed off of it for a couple of days and took IB Profen. After 3 days I did a few tricep exercises which didn't bother it at all when I tried some biceps it bothered it a bit, but not as bad when I tried something should or even pushups I could barely do. It's 6 days later and it's a little better but still hurts pretty when I lift my arm all the way up it hurts right before it gets the highest point and it also hurts when I raise it in front, keeping my arm straight and it hurts even worse when I keep it in front, straight and move my arm in kinda like a fly position. I can't seem to find much that sounds like my injury so far my only guesses are strained rotator cuff, strained bicep tendon, or muscle indigiment or somthin like that. It honestly feels more tendon or possible bone then muscle. Does anyone have a clue please help its starting to frustrate me I'm very active.

Who should I start? I need to pick two. Pierre Garçon, Anquin Boldin, Laurent Robinson or Santonio Holmes?
Consider that, robinson has been on a streak but has miles Austin back and a shoulder injury. Garçon exploded 2 weeks ago, but was a non factor last week. Boldin gets a lot of targets. Holmes scores Td's but not alot of targets. Also please cOnsider the defenses? It's playoff time!

HELP PLEASE fantasy gurus!! Tough playoff decision.. :/?
K so.. I'm a girl.. and I made it to the Playoffs.. (YAAY!!)

*Laurent Robinson (questionable with shoulder injury)

*Demaryius Thomas <- Great match up against New England (the give up the most points to WR) but I'm still nervous about him.

Fun riding activities to do with kids?
Once my mare's shoulder injury completely heals and I get her back in work three younger kids want to ride her.They all have a little bit of riding experience since their mother works as a horse trainer.They just can't ride most of the horses she works with since they're either racehorses or rescues.The kids are 7,9,and 11.They all know how to tack up and brush a horse.My mare won't take advantage of them and won't spook at anything.

Shoulder injury, fell on shoulder. Please help!?
I do ski racing at my school, this Saturday I caught the tip of my ski on a gate, launched forward, and landed first on my shoulder then my hip. It hurt but I continued practicing. Sunday I woke up and could hardly lift my arm above my shoulder because it hurt so bad. It is not bruised when u look at it and I can see no major swelling. I have missed the last 3 days of practice because putting any type of strain on it hurts. It does not hurt when I don't move it, however when I do it sends a pain from my shoulder half way to the elbow. I have been able to move it more, but even lifting a book and driving makes it hurt. I still cannot reach backwards much because of the pain. Also I can reach up and to the side with a slight pain, but putting it back down hurts a lot more. Ive had many bruises but this does not feel like one. Any idea what is wrong? It is not enough pain to make me cry, however it hurts a lot and sometimes I need assistance moving my arm when it gets stiff. Thanks for the help! I appreciate it!
