The perfect period?
I was unlucky enough to have gotten my period the night before I had day surgery. The strangest thing... It was the lightest, shortest one I can remember. No cramps or back pain either, but I attribute that to the pain killers.
I had general anesthesia, vistril, zofran, and Scopolamine for nausea; oxycodone for pain and a nerve block. It was shoulder/rotator cuff surgery. Which med contributed to the good fortune?
Geez there's always one. If you're going to yell at me, can you do it on email? This is curiousity. I'm not looking for a monthly dose of anything to accompany my period. This was a pleasant surprise during a painful recovery.
