Anyone have a WRONG MRI result?
I had an MRI which turned out to be wrong. Asked my surgeon and he told me it happens a lot. The gold standard is what you see with your eyes when someone is opened up. He said he gets an MRI that shows a shoulder rotator cuff tear and he finds none. He also gets the reverse - MRI shows no tear and he finds tearing upon opening up the patient's shoulder. Anyone else have this experience on any part of his/her body?
