Neurosurgeon or OrthoSurgeon.?
Am doing phys. therapy for rotator cuff tendonitis brought on by repetative movement plus referred pain from neck surg. 4 yrs. ago. P.T. is helping; am sure Ortho will say surgery. Since I have a history of referred pain from neck, wouldn't it be better to see a Neurosurgeon? If you have experience w/this please let me know what you think/would do. Thank you.

physical therapy for rotator cuff surgery?
Rotator cuff surgery exercises? i had a small tear repaired and a bone spur removed from my shoulder rotator cuff. It's been 9 days since the surgery. I have a question about a movement. There are a few exercises i am supposed to do. I've been doing them except for one that i just found out about. I'm able to do the up and down stretches where you place the arm on the table in front of you and you slide up and down to stretch the arm. I have no problem and can stretch until the arm is really high up. This other exercise where you stand by a doorway and place your hand on the edge and turn you body away from the bad arm with your elbows close to your body is where I'm having a lot of stiffness and can barley turn my body. It aches after for a long long time. I just started doing these and have been in tears because I feel like i started too late and now its stiff. can anyone tell me if this is normal or did i start this exercise too late? I can hardly turn my body...it extremely stiff.
